Important SDSHP Announcements

Hello SDSHP Board and Members!

We hope everyone had a great October Pharmacist Month and enjoyed a festival Halloween weekend! Please see below there are some important announcements regarding our next election period and gala. 1. The Call for Nominations starts now! Nominations for Officers, Board Members, and Delegates are now being accepted! There are 10 positions available:: · President-Elect · Secretary · Board Member (2 positions available) · CSHP Delegate (4 positions available) · Alternate CSHP Delegate (2 positions available) Please nominate your CSHP member colleagues who you feel would be a perfect fit for any of these available positions. Self nominations are accepted and encouraged! <Submit your nominations to the Nomination Committee via Google Form HERE> by 5:00pm on Monday, November 15th Our 2022 Board of Directors and Delegates will be installed at the virtual gala at 6pm on December 12, 2021. See below for our current Officers, Board Members, and Delegates of 2022 are as follows:

Board of Directors/Officers · President: Nightingale Martin · President-elect: POSITION AVAILABLE (1-year term as president-elect, 1-year term as president) · Past-President: Jairus Mahoe · Treasurer: Kim Tallian (2-year term) Board Member

• Continuing Board Members: Andrew Smith, Kerry Rambaren, Diandra Ruidera (1 year remaining on a 2-year term)

• There are currently 2 BOARD MEMBER POSITIONS AVAILABLE to be filled and these are 2-year terms

Delegates

• 2 CSHP Delegate positions and 2 alternate CSHP Delegate positions are available (1-year term)

• Be sure to put the date and time in your calendars! We will be sending an RSVP by the end of the month to get a headcount of those able to attend. We're hoping to have another fantastic event and turnout this year! It'll be a fun night of games, prizes, awards and the induction ceremony of our new board!

3. SDSHP Gala Discussion Meeting (in lieu of November meeting) on Wednesday, November 10th, at 6pm

• SDSHP does not typically have a monthly board and members meeting during the month of CSHP Seminar. As we have kept the meeting slot open, we will use this time to help prepare and plan for the SDSHP Gala!

• Normal business will not be conducted, but if there are any announcements you would like to make, please let us know and we can make a brief announcement for awareness.

• If you are interested in assisting with the gala, we highly recommend attending this meeting. As the end of the year is fast approaching, the gala will be here sooner than we know it!
