Program Description: This course will review the new personnel monitoring and training requirements for USP <797> which will take effect on November 1, 2023. It will also provide an overview of the new incubation requirements, strategies on handling the incubation requirements, and considerations for immediate use compounding.

Pharmacist & Pharmacy Technician Learning Objectives:

1. List the personnel training requirements in the 2023 USP <797> Chapter

2. Explain the personnel monitoring requirements in the 2023 USP <797> Chapter

3. Describe considerations for the two-step incubation method for gloved fingertip sampling, surface sampling, and media fill tests.

4. Discuss training elements for staff who perform immediate use compounding ACPE
